Maybe the kids saw the message and made it their mission to go around checking on everyone
Kids can be really sweet, when they’re not being twats.
“Why are you fat?”, “Why are you old?”, “Are you going to die soon? Its okay if you do”.
And all said with complete innocence and genuinitity.
Give them some credit, sometimes it’s both at once!
They can somehow do both at the same time too!
That’s harsh dude. But it reminds me of the time I had trick 'r treaters at my apartment, and they could see my apartment all decked out in halloween stuff and when I closed the door one of the kids said, “See, old people can enjoy halloween too!”
I didn’t know I was old until that moment.
Once you join the 3 series (30 years old), you are officially in the Uncle/Aunty demographic and therefore old. Accept it. Embrace it.
As someone who decided this when I was a kid, I have to stand by my decision.
“No I’m not ok, go get me a hot sandwich you little twerps!”
