I was looking for a mouse recently. My priorities were:

• Comfortable (i.e. vertical; after getting used to it I’m not looking back)
• Standard format replaceable battery, since built-ins always end up depleting or swelling and being hard to replace
• Nice scroll wheel (highly subjective though)
• Easy switching between Linux and Windows systems
• Small-ish, portable

I got the Logitech Lift. I am pleasantly surprised by how nice it is.

Granted I mostly use my mouse for browsing, scrolling and navigating UIs. The rest is all keyboard. For games I prefer controllers and game pads so precision/high performance wasn’t an issue for me at all.

I place them in the same order the table should be made (clockwise order): forks, spoons, knives.

Moving the spoons one step sounds reasonable I guess but I’d never switch places of the forks and the knives. If the order was knives, forks I’d have to switch hands to grab them and that thought bothers me more than I thought it would. TIL this is a pet peeve of mine

Yeah, I've never wtf'd so hard in a game as when I entered the thing and left the other thing in the DLC.

That game was so well done and thought through.

It took me about two or three hours to learn to navigate and find my first "magical thing". When I did I was hooked. But yeah it can be slow to start.

It's a fantastic exploration game if you go in blind and I wish I could forget it all and explore it all again.
