i tried to get templeos to run on my virtual machine. overall i was not impressed. the text is ugly as fuck and also i wasn’t able to type anything into the terminal. then again that was probably just a problem with my VM settings.

I have three Linux VMs (Kali, Arch, Fedora) but I don’t use them very much. All my shit is on macOS though. I know that I can move files from my mac environment to my linux environment using scp but IIRC I just forgot to do that.

the only thing i like about oh-my-zsh is the random themes, i seriously have no idea what else it does

i need to get familiar with fish. i’ve studied the syntax but i still have hardly used it, and if you really want to learn how to code something, you gotta keep typing it until it’s in your muscle memory.

i’m all about oh-my-zsh. I mostly like it because it loads a random theme every time you run source ~/.zshrc, so you get exposed to a lot of different themes, so you can pick one that looks really nice. The one I’ve gone with was the most minimalist theme I could find. export ZSH_THEME="miloshadzic"

EDIT: actually, while your approach is more elegant, it doesn’t capture what happened in the scene. Hodor doesn’t immediately go from “HOLD THE DOOR” to “HODOR”, there are multiple iterations and it gets less intelligible with each one
