My mother is Norwegian and my father is German. I grew up in Germany. When we were young my mother would speak Norwegian with us. But she stopped when we had friends over because it seemed rude to her. Eventually she stopped entirely.

I wish I had kept it up. Although apparently it wouldn’t have done us much good in most of Norway. When my father had some Norwegian business partners over he wanted to impress them with his Norwegian. They didn’t understand a word because he learned it from my mother who apparently has a very thick accent.

Ah, then it wasn’t that. Had that trouble with my wife’s laptop. And the other day it just reset its BIOS settings by itself, booting back into Windows and activating the Optane stuff.

Look in your BIOS for Intel Optane and deactivate it. It is not supported on Linux because it is buggy and can lead to data loss. That’s why drives using that aren’t showing.

My wife is slowly getting used to Jellyfin. We’ve already cancelled Amazon. More to follow.

Well, the browser could choose not to download the images, videos and styling information. Trouble is that many modern sites load their content through JavaScript programs that can be comparatively massive.

But I guess losing those sites would be a small price to pay for OP.

Just loading the text should be really small, especially when it is compressed, which should be the standard nowadays.

Look for a lockfile in its config directory. Just delete it if it’s there. It can be left over when qbittorrent isn’t shut down correctly.
