Hey ya’ll, I’ve been looking at the Station G2 for a long time as a home node, but I’ve also been waiting an equally long time for it to come back into stock. It seems like its never going to at this point, so I want to find a comparable alternative. Does anyone have any recommendations?

    Good home nodes?

    home node as in base station or as in repeater? If one has a repeater/client_base node outdoors I don’t think it matters much what one uses indoors.

    My MT setup is

    • base: Heltec e290 (eInk) flashed with client_mute
    • repeater: seeed sensecap solarnode P1 flashed with client_base
    • mobile: T114 client_mute

    My MC setup is

    • base: a Heltec V3 flashed with companion
    • repeater: a PeakMesh-built solar node based on the RAK4631. Flashed with client_base
    • mobile: wismesh tag flashed with companion
