I’m a little too young for the Commodore 64 - my introduction were a friend’s Amiga 500 and a hand-me-down Amiga 2000 - but these look awesome enough that I would buy it just to display it, if only my hobby budget wasn’t already ridiculously over-stretched this year!
I love the DS style, probably the coolest handheld ever, though the screen format should be 4:3 instead if it is dedicated to these games.
I would rather use a clamshell style like the 2nd generation gba, though this is a lovely design.

Some probably but most games back then were wasd+space USB port on the handheld can take a keyboard I think though
