Basically the title, I utilise Adguard home for the router but was wondering if 1 blocker firewall feature was safe and private to use on device.

Yeah I’ve been using it for years. Works fine!
Besides the safari extension, doesn’t the firewall just create an on device connection (no data goes to tier servers)
I use it. It’s fine. About as good as you could expect an iOS blocker to be. It’s reasonably open source and nice, as opposed to some shovelware app from questionable developers.

True but Adguard slows my safari experience, so having 2 apps one for safari blocking and one for device blocking seems kinda silly
