I don’t think he looked particularly good in the rematch where he KO’d Pereira either. Pereira got sloppy wanting to end Izzy with a violent KO. If he stayed patient he could have continued picking him apart until Izzy dropped. Instead, he pushed the action, overextended and got caught.
Absolutely agree. On top of that both losses were pretty definitive. He got knocked out against Pereira and he didn’t do jackshit against Strickland.
He should have at least one contender fight.
