There’s much more to the story, like, the game was unfinished on launch and now they’ve finally started fixing things and discounting it.

They haven’t starting fixing things, they stopped. This update and the expansion is very likely the last update the game will get since they will now concentrate on making the next game in Unreal Engine, namely The Witcher 4. (They are also remaking The Witcher 1 using Unreal.)

Well and I am just addicted to the game. I dont wanna play anything else even though I know the content by heart already.

          And I dont know why…

For me, it was the CDP emails about Phantom Liberty. I somehow had no idea there was a free, massive 2.0 update (assumed big changes would only be part of expansion). About 40 hours in now, plan to stay on 1.63, then try different character build on 2.0, then start expansion (if not burned out).

Ive just been reloading and messing with my last game to get an idea of my build before a new run through. I like netrunners and im sorta thinking about using blades as my backup just for the defense since my armor is going to be low based on the cyberware I want and can handle. The interesting thing im finding compared to before is im not sure its worth doing a 20 in anything when you don’t have perks to spare for weapons skills (I just have to have the auto camo and in air dash and of course some additional cyberware capacity)
