I think it will! Although I'm not entirely sure if you would be able to play online with that device… As stated in the video, a guy is using his Steam Deck, he is using MelonDS with Linux.
It is for Nintendo DS, you can try the game even in an emulator like MelonDS, the game is almost 100% translated to English/Spanish.
