I’m actually happy to say this is me, I recently installed Mint on a separate m.2 drive from windows, I wanted to just test it. I now find myself almost permanently on Mint, only going back to windows once to play a multiplayer game that isn’t on Linux yet.

What do you mean when you say fancy zones doesn’t work reliably? I have 2 ultrawide monitors one on top of the other and I use 3 desktops, all with their own individual fancy zone layouts, it’s one of the only things I use powertoys for!

21·1 year agoWhen you say about it being a paid app do you mean repeat payments? Because I paid less than £5 for sync years ago and still use it for free on Lemmy. I don’t think I’m helping the dev eat anymore. It does exactly what I need it to. No need to be mean to people that still like sync.

I moved from PIA to surfshark last year, I think its great! But your right, its not often the first to be recommended.
