It helps that emulators have caught up in the last ten years. When I started collecting consoles there wasn’t a good emulator for the Saturn and even emulating the snes on a mobile device with similar power to a pi was inaccurate at times.
I have less and less reason to want to use original hardware other than nostalgia.
Because it’s art.
There is a lot of skill and artistic talent needed to create a facsimile of real life. Anyone can draw a tree, but a realistic tree takes some amount of artistic knowledge. The more realistic the more talent that the artist shows. Similarly, when the artist deviates from recreating real life it shows an artistic vision beyond reality.
We like art because it shows a different perspective from the minds eye of the artist. And when the artist can render that vision as something that looks real, even if it couldn’t really exist, it is impressive.

I just assume that these people never have any problems that they have to solve personally. Otherwise they would be frustrated by the inability to find necessary information. They are either rich or children or both.
It depends on your state. The verbiage that works on one state doesn’t necessarily work in another.
The same is mostly true in the US. The companies use them to scare people into settlements. But it does depend on the state.
CD-R, rewriting has a higher chance to corrupt. And if you like your music you won’t need to overwrite it
I’m more of the opinion that it should be a height/ weight thing. Or a performance based analysis e.g. you could make sprinter tiers for people within a few seconds of each other based on personal averages. I mean this sort of system already exists for making leagues and tiers right now, we just also split by sex.
The whole assuming humans to be rational part is what messes up the calculation.
Overwatch has had an identity crisis since Jeff Kaplan left. It’s a husk of what it used to be and a disappointment of what it could be.
It was supposed to be tf2 with moba elements. But now it’s trying to be left4dead with moba elements. I think it would be better off to return to roots and just keep innovating on the character and weapons and skills.

Start small. Watch game developer videos. Make games that imitate games you like to get an idea of how they do it.
Get on some game dev boards and talk to the people who already make games
Other than games,
Learn how to code. Look up some YouTube tutorials on python or Java to get started then go from there.
Write/ journal. Laptops are great for being in new and different locations that may inspire new thoughts and ideas. Write them down, make them into a book. This works best when you don’t have WiFi imo.
If your hardware supports it learn how to 3d model. Look into blender.
To the best of my memory, it started out as a less moderated more free speech space. But that kind of place online tends to attract racists, bigots, and haters because most places online are very free except for those kinds of speech.
I was a PlayStation kid but I had friends who had the n64. Overall I had a lot of fun playing mario 64, dk64 multiplayer, Mario kart 64, and Star Fox 64 at friend’s houses. We always did a win a level or die then it’s the other person’s tern rule on single player games.
But ultimately the single player experience on PlayStation was better. The rpgs and horror genres really left a lot to be desired on the Nintendo end.
I’m glad I have them both now. As a side note I never heard of the Saturn back in the day, but it’s the best for arcade ports of the era. If people are looking to get into mid to late ‘90s gaming.
I expect tik tok to make a long form video tab and compete directly. The way that YouTube made shorts to compete with tik tok.
Mega drive would have sounded cool when it came out, though it’s perhaps the most dated sounding name of the bunch.
