Julius Ceasar wasn’t so bad. Parenti’s book The Assassination of Julius Caesar: A People’s History of Ancient Rome is an interesting read, looking at his assassination as a reaction from the ruling class who felt threatened by his reformist policies that benefited the lower classes.
In general though we do seem to value the lives and experiences of people in even recent history as lesser. I don’t know why, it’s a good question.
I have an x1 Gen7 and it’s great. EXCEPT for the battery life which is fucking awful. Maybe 4 hours if you’re lucky. It was originally advertised as having 18 hours.

Destroying any chance of European energy independence by its terrorist attack on NordStream forces industry to move to the US for cheaper costs of doing business. Its war in Ukraine has resulted in the state being massively in debt to the US as well as having its land stolen and sold to American oligarchs. The next stage of the plan is to get Ukraine into the EU to have European taxpayers foot the bill.
The US will finally fall when its currency loses its place as the world’s canonical medium of exchange. After that, this soft enslavement will become a much worse hard enslavement.

Russia manipulated the results of the US election via a twitter mind hack. A couple of guys posted a meme that was so powerful that everyone who saw it wanted to vote for Trump.
No seriously. That’s what people believe.
I’m still trying to get a handle on how best to go about this. Which instance is best for a base account? If I use this one on lemmygrad I might find that a bunch of these won’t federate.
