Honestly I’m probably heading to Vivaldi after reading a lot of these things.

would Vivaldi on android be better? I really like having extensions on my browser and that’s the only other android one I know of that has them.
Edit: I was wrong apparently Vivaldi does not support extensions on mobile which is a bummer.
I know lastpass does but they lost my trust after the breach.
This comment made me look into if KDE has one and apparently they do it even has built in ad blocking.
Off to compile for 3 hours. /j
damn that sucks.
fair enough makes sense. LibreWolf is real strict about it.
isn’t chromium under the Linux foundation now? Might look at the options on that side.
Do you have a good non chromium based alternative? To be clear I genuinely am asking those things make switching probably worth it considering how little of a hassle it is.
Have you actually read the reasoning behind the anti-rust? it has absolutely nothing to do with it being rust. They would have just as many issues with it if it was Go instead.
I think R4L may very well be the right idea in the long term but it should absolutely be thoroughly discussed what will be rust and what will remain C.
Introducing a new language with no guidelines is guaranteed to cause issues in the long term and likely significantly slow down development.
I have no idea. I did not downvote lol. Was genuinely trying to figure out if there was a reason to switch.
I would assume there is no issue until someone actually explains what the problem is.
I fucking hate tech elitism. There’s a difference between refusing to learn to use a browser and learning the ins and outs of hundreds of different computer companies. Dell isn’t really any better and those are the two main ones in a lot of stores.
People act like knowledge is inherit, It is not. It is earned through learning.
Block chain was ruined by the early adopters.
I really like Tidals algorithm for new music. I struggle to find new music I like so find it immensely helpful and it is much better than spotifys.

Perfect is the enemy of good.
Would you rather people switch to non google services or think that since they are all equally evil they might as well keep using the same service.
Amazon hasn’t changed the content of books yet but publishers already have changed them and that is part of the issue.
Thats really weird. I have never personally had the issue but it is more and fair enough to have issues with FF after that. I would recommend brave then, still chromium based but is actively doing things to make sure their adblock still works.
There’s not a lot of great options for buying eBooks outside of amazon imo. There are some options out there but so many people self-publish exclusively on amazon you very well could be better buying off physical copies (which are somehow often cheaper) and legally backing up your books by finding downloads.
Here is a link for some that you can but online though.
Was
Isa little faster.
No way it stays that way after blocking ad-blocking. Some websites genuinely take over 30s without ad block.
I mean worst case scenario they probably end up with a cheaper 7800 if the launch isn’t as bad as the 50 series.
