  • Google has been rolling out a thing where an AI result is the first thing that pops up, often taking up the whole screen lol. I’ve personally witnessed tons of people google something normally, then just go with whatever the AI says.

Makes me shake my head, but it’s not like they were very discerning with their sources before all this nonsense, either. Hopefully they don’t rely on it for any important medical advice down the road

  • Nope you got it! Okami by the now shut down Clover Studio. The remaining members from Clover actually founded Platinum Games, the creators of Bayonetta, NieR Automata, and Astral Chain.

Playing Okami you can absolutely feel the essence of their later games in the combat, but the game overall is more Zelda inspired. Absolutely delightful title, I played it and replayed it on the Wii back in the day. There’s an HD remake available as well, sadly the game is still stuck at 30fps due to technical limitations but very worth grabbing on sale.

  • So I was actually just struggling with that myself, also in the Memmy app in case that isn’t clear

What I did was add my account (again)

There was no warning or anything, and it populated the list with two of me.

At that point, a “delete account” option appeared under both of them. So I guess in normal circumstances, it wants you to keep one account around at all times?

I deleted one of them, and the app basically reinitialized. Both were gone and it showed me the welcome screen.

I logged back in, and now everything is back to normal

  • Ironically, I just buy whatever’s cheaper lol. That was android for a few phones, and I was happy as a clam. Then the time came for an upgrade, and my carrier had a crazy sale for the previous year’s iphone. So I gave it a shot.

Still happy as a clam lol. I think of myself as being very “techy”, I use linux, etc., but I really don’t need my phone to do anything special. I use like 6 apps that are all multi platform. Very little about my flow changed.

I prefer the keyboard on android actually, and I like firefox on android better than safari. But everything else is pretty much fine. I’d be okay going iphone again, or back to android. Whatever’s cheaper when the time comes.

  • Completely agree.

One thing I’ve noticed I always do, is I’ll play a game, then hop on the subreddit for that game once I can no longer be spoiled. It’s nice to have a community with years of content and information waiting for you.

But the communities are gradually being formed here too, literally before our eyes. Someone just made a dragon’s dogma community like an hour ago for example. I’m happy to give them time to grow, and to help them along myself.

But hopefully communities everywhere will increasingly recognize the importance of having well organized, dedicated wikis, rather than trying to stuff everything into an existing forum community or into a Discord.
