1·2 months agoThe message you’re seeing is Monitorian, it complained about ddc/ci, I never had to deal with ddc/ci on Linux

17·2 months agoYeah maybe, and it’s only under 1gb to download, this show how bad and bloated w11 is
Sure you can, but gtx 1650 is not cutting it if you wanna play modern “AAA” games even on low settings 1080p unless you sacrifice resolution, as for everything else you should be fine

3·2 months agoNvidia 595 and Linux 7 probably also help with performance, in real gameplay I lose 2-5 fps compared to windows (10-20 on old proton em basically unplayable)

Linux@lemmy.ml•Are you on which team: vim, nano, micro, er ed for you terminal based text editor?
1·3 months agoI still use nano, I tried micro and it’s confusing af to use also it didn’t allow konsole context menu to copy anything from it or paste anything from outside even with ctrl+v or ctrl+shift+v
I have a separate /home partition, So I don’t have to redo any customization, honestly it’s just init systems I don’t loss anything
It’s a heavily customized KDE Desktop Environment

I used to have VLC as my media server (easier to setup than Plex or Jellyfin)
