I think it depends on what you mean when you say “synthetic meat”.
I use quorn mince when I’m making spaghetti bolognese and lasagne. If you add marmite to the “mince” when you’re doing the initial cook the final dish is indistinguishable from real meat tbh.
I agree that other meat replacements aren’t the same and probably won’t be for a while, although Aldi have recently started selling something that resembles a steak which I want to try.
No-one has said it, but the USA seems to be an inherently more violent society than any other western nation.
Even without guns, the murder and violence rates are significantly higher per capita than anywhere else in the western world.
Why? It would have to be a guess. It could be poor education. It could be the rampant levels of poverty and drug abuse.
It could be some old pioneer fetish where people think they’re some sort of cowboy maybe.
In the USA a cleaning woman was shot and killed because she knocked on the wrong door. That would never happen anywhere else. You had the young black boy shot and killed for simply walking down the street. That would never happen anywhere else.
And those aren’t even extreme examples. Like seriously, wtf? Imagine you have a kid going to a friends house and having to worry that he might be shot and killed if he takes a wrong turning somewhere.
What is for sure is that whenever something horrific happens in Europe/Canada/Australia/NZ, there is a sensible and rational conversation about how to prevent it happening again.

If you want good pay then you leave.
Leaving that job security for less money is, imho, absolutely insane.
Anything that encourages the sharing of small snippets of information, elevates the prominence of misinformation thanks to engagement algorithms and reduces discourse to simple 3 word responses have caused the most damage.

Reddit wouldn’t count in my view. It encourages lengthier, more critical responses. Yes its an echo chamber in places but its also pretty easy to avoid toxic content.

In the UK. I’ve found the best treatment has been coal based shampoo. I use T-Gel.
Lather hair with normal shampoo to remove hair gel/dirt/sweat and then rinse and repeat with a small amount of coal based.
Leave it to soak into my scalp for a few minutes before washing off.
3 in 1 shampoo is terrible for yoir scalp.
