Epic Meal Time and Pure Pwnage
I’ve been using gimp for years as a Photoshop alternative. Tons of tutorials, and I’ve always been able to do what I needed.
Its great that there are alternatives for those who want them!
Stream pirating
Fucking Costco. Pay a membership fee to wait in the following lines to buy shit:
Parking, cart, entry, items, pay, receipt check, leave parking. You can’t simple stop by for an item, its impossible…
Im a cyclist who would love to not have to own a car but its just impossible between the suburbs, winter climate, and shitty, dirty public transport in my city. It also takes 10x longer to get anywhere. Plus anyone I know who bikes to work stinks.
Password prompt on boot load. No monitor and keyboard plugged in, and im assuming i cant SSH until LVM password is entered.
What’s a decent game i should try made by Godot?
My library does prints for almost free
It’s a service that allows tv/movie streaming from torrents. I use it with the ‘Seren’ addon within Kodi on my HTPC/FireSticks. It’s $20/6 months, and works great. No buffering.
I tried it just last month for a whole week before I ditched it back for Windows. Its just not ready for serious gamers. I am very anti microsoft so when it is ready, I will happily make the switch.
Different needs, different hardware, different skill levels. My kindergarten kids used it for 2 years for school, no problem. I still don’t use it because its too rough for my advanced needs.
Rimworld - 2000 hours so far. I’m not done yet. The mod community and periodic dlc keep it alive for me.
Each day you don’t poop, you lay an egg that hatches into a random monster. The egg is indestructible.
Ok i avoided replying to this for long enough. Based on your requirements, I’m making the following recommendations:
Nutrient-rich meal replacement bars: These bars are designed to provide a balanced mix of macronutrients (carbohydrates, protein, and fat) and essential vitamins and minerals. They are often fortified to meet nutritional needs, making them a convenient and space-saving option. However, they should not be relied upon as the sole source of nutrition for an extended period of time.
Dried fruits and nuts: Dried fruits are a concentrated source of natural sugars, fiber, and some essential nutrients. They provide energy and can help satisfy hunger. Nuts, on the other hand, are a good source of healthy fats, protein, and fiber. They offer satiety and provide a range of beneficial nutrients.
Jerky: Jerky, typically made from lean meats, is a good source of protein and can provide energy. It is compact, lightweight, and doesn’t require refrigeration. Be mindful of the sodium content.
Meal replacement shakes: These shakes are formulated to provide a balance of macronutrients and essential micronutrients. They often contain protein, carbohydrates, healthy fats, and a blend of vitamins and minerals. They are easy to consume and require minimal preparation.
Energy gels: Energy gels are designed to provide quick energy in the form of simple carbohydrates. They are often used by athletes during intense physical activities. While they offer a rapid energy boost, they do not provide substantial nutrients beyond carbohydrates.
Thank you to everyone’s support. I did not expect as much support as you all provided. I’m happy to announce a huge success! Ubuntu is installed, I’ve overcome several hurdles, and have a few more to go. I’ll try to post in next week to summarize my progress and challenges.
I read this earlier and you convinced me to try Ubuntu. Initially not a fan of the way it looked, but customization seems limitless. It’s been less than 10 hours, but it’s already starting to look like ‘mine’. I’m sure that will evolve plenty in time.
Yes exactly. I switched BIOS to load ubuntu, and it’s working perfectly! I needed to flip back to windows for some info and it was a breeze to reboot between both.
I was against them for years. As a prank, a friend bought me bright yellow ones. I only wore them privately in the house.
I wore them down after 10 years and finally just replaced them. I have a fancier slipper style pair for when I go to peoples houses. I can’t not wear them now. Buy them. Love them. They’re cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Magical.
