Big nerd. Big fan of cool open source stuff. Generally queer. (He/him)

I believe this is an issue with both openboard and the aosp keyboard (with jerboa specifically), here lemme find the repo for the open board fork thats still getting development
Edit: https://github.com/Helium314/openboard this fork is under active development. It can be installed via the apks on github or through obtainium. If there isn’t one already it would be helpful to submit a bug report for the issue you’re experiencing. It might be good to open a bug report with jerboa too
Man, thats cool as fuck
I feel like I don’t see much of the stormtrooper sort of pallette from that era
As someone who only ever accesses lemmy with jerboa, I had no idea that info was visible, thank you for mentioning that
So if I go to the web interface I can see upvotes and down votes? Is it only visible for my posts and comments?
Gotcha. Good luck finding answers, and If you figure something out on your own time I’m sure folks would love it if you reported back with your findings. Hopefully someone has some helpful insight :)
How old is the filament? If you’ve had it a long time perhaps its taken on too much water (once things get to a certain point it can irreversibly make the filament print poorly, even if you try to dry it)
I’m not super knowledgeable myself, but I hope someone here is able to provide useful guidance
I don’t mind a little bit of simplification, as the previous logo had a lot of little granular details that arent going to be as legible at different scales, but I’m not sure I’m entirely in love with the execution here. I like that they kept the nodes offset as opposed to the previous version for smaller scale applications, but the point where the left node originates from is too close to the base of the house, putting too many corners in close proximity for them to read clearly enough as separate corners and for them to not just merge into a bit of an organic wiggle if you’re not looking close enough.
I don’t hate it though, and I think overall its a decent improvement in some respects. But I think the old one had more character, and was a bit better executed, even if it didn’t works as well at all scales
God, old car interiors are rad!
That’s a damn fine URL. Thanks for sharing ❤️
They’re all so pretty 🥹
Man, thats fuckin dope!!
Thats so fucking cool!!!
Dope, thanks for sharing!
Pretty! 😍
Do it! Community projects only happen when a community makes it happen. Developing an app that has to engage with someone else’s back end is difficult and they could probably use the help
If they don’t like your commit, you can ask them why in case its something easy to fix, and if you can’t make them happy then fork the project
Nifty! Now you just need gumballs
Open board has an active fork here: https://github.com/Helium314/openboard
It has typing suggestions, backspace and space bar gestures, and now some custom theming. Though it does have a weird bug with backspace behavior in the jerboa app- so does the original openboard and aosp keyboard that openboard is based on.
Its not available on f-droid, though hopefully that’ll change in the future, but you can install the apk from the releases tab on github, or you can use obtainium to do that for you and it’ll let you know when there’s a new release
Well thats horrifying 😐
I appreciate you mentioning that, thats how I’m considering using the 5 if it ends up as my phone replacement, but I have a hard time interpreting the info around wireless frequency bandwidths supported 🙃 I like pretty user interfaces, networking hurts my brain
