Luckily, yes, my finger is in perfect condition again. But it took over a year to completely heal.
I was making whipped cream with an electric hand mixer while talking to someone at the same time. While talking and looking at them, I wanted to turn off the machine, but as I didn’t look at it, I put my hands right into the whisk instead of the switch I was trying to reach. Out of pain and shock, instead of turning it off with the other hand, I moved the switch in the wrong direction to its maximum and broke my finger.
Do streaming sites actually work for others? Like reliably? At least for me, sometimes they work okay, and I can watch a movie without any buffering, but most of the time I have to deal with lots and lots of buffering. Sometimes every few seconds even. Maybe it’s because of the VPN? Never tried it without. But then again, even with a VPN, I get around 75Mbps.
I don’t think it’s OSM but I use Here we go. I don’t particularly like it but it has public transport support and isn’t Google Maps.
If only it had support for public transport. In theory it would be my favorite OSM app but I can’t really use it without support for that :(
I thought that you would get your grandparents by just going into a train station and picking some random (preferably older person) to be your grandparent.
I was convinced that my parents had done that for me, and that’s why I had grandparents.
And I’ve just gotten used to Dvorak…
I recently tried to do that but after hours of trying l had to give up. If there’s a way, I’d really like to know too.
Ah, that makes sense. Too bad. I have all my games on steam and haven’t yet found a way to play them with the patch. I could, of course, compile proton with the patch myself, but somehow I am too stupid for that.
How did you get it to work within proton? Last time I looked, the Wayland patch wasn’t yet included in proton. I’d love to use it for my games too.
Any news on wine on Wayland? I haven’t heard anything in a while; is it still being worked on?
I sometimes need it because of its functionality to connect to the Tor network. The Tor browser itself is just too slow for what I need. Yes, I am aware that using Tor like that is significantly less secure than it would be with the Tor browser. I just NEED the speed increase it provides over the Tor browser.
Does anyone know of a way to do the same thing in another browser? Preferably Firefox? I would love to be able to use something else.
Tell me if I’m wrong, but to me, it very much seemed like passive-aggressive irony. Like “Thanks for telling us this absolutely pointless fact that nobody wants to hear because it’s stupid”. Plus, I guess I also mean the other people who disliked my comment for seemingly no other reason but me deciding to not use something. Why does it concern them?
Why so toxic? What is wrong with me saying that I probably won’t be using it if it isn’t open source? Why does that bother you? (Serious question)
Too bad, I guess I won’t be using it then. But thanks anyway.
Will it be open source? Or is it already?
Thank you, that worked!
