Ah, that makes sense. Too bad. I have all my games on steam and haven’t yet found a way to play them with the patch. I could, of course, compile proton with the patch myself, but somehow I am too stupid for that.

How did you get it to work within proton? Last time I looked, the Wayland patch wasn’t yet included in proton. I’d love to use it for my games too.
Any news on wine on Wayland? I haven’t heard anything in a while; is it still being worked on?
I sometimes need it because of its functionality to connect to the Tor network. The Tor browser itself is just too slow for what I need. Yes, I am aware that using Tor like that is significantly less secure than it would be with the Tor browser. I just NEED the speed increase it provides over the Tor browser.
Does anyone know of a way to do the same thing in another browser? Preferably Firefox? I would love to be able to use something else.
Tell me if I’m wrong, but to me, it very much seemed like passive-aggressive irony. Like “Thanks for telling us this absolutely pointless fact that nobody wants to hear because it’s stupid”. Plus, I guess I also mean the other people who disliked my comment for seemingly no other reason but me deciding to not use something. Why does it concern them?
Why so toxic? What is wrong with me saying that I probably won’t be using it if it isn’t open source? Why does that bother you? (Serious question)
Too bad, I guess I won’t be using it then. But thanks anyway.
Will it be open source? Or is it already?
No, I do not. Except when I’m looking for something and reddit is the only place where I can find my answers. But that rarely happens.

I recently tried to do that but after hours of trying l had to give up. If there’s a way, I’d really like to know too.
