1 year agoIt depends. It’s mostly good (quite probably better than under Windows), but if there’s unsupported hardware that’s less continuously (which it shouldn’t be) it can drain the battery pretty fast. But that wouldn’t be any different under Windows…

Honestly, to me, Connect feels much like Sync for Reddit did. Itvs to be expected that devs are going to learn from eachother in the process of developing for Lemmy, especially given the “youthfulness” of the platform.
