You still need employees to help hapless customers and flag tech problems, the security cameras from above to dissuade theft, and someone to man the monitors of said cameras. They were banking on full human replacement. There is a single silver thread in reddit these days— there are multiple subreddits dedicated to posting info about the epstein files. A subject US media has no interest in following.

Reddit is insufferable. It’s impossible to get an interesting convo going and the vast majority of posts are slop. Even the subreddits for hobbyists are affected. I’ll save a sad memory for the glory days but it’s time to move on.
