I was a mod for a unpopular opinion sub aimed at unpopular political opinions. It was as bad as you could imagine. At most I’d only have one or so posts a month that i didn’t have to remove.

That’s so easy to do. I got perma banned because I commented “at least you’re not reddited” on a post where op said they were ok being called removed because of their disability.

I used to collect pocket knives. It’s taken a bit of a backburner spot on my hobby list recently. Mostly because a hobby built around buying expensive items with little intention to use them is hard to justify as a priority. All in all I’ve spent thousands on knives and have next to nothing to show for it. If i were to die today, someone could buy my whole collection for around $1500, so i can’t really say it’s been an investment.

I got into collecting the same way everyone does. My Dad took me to big 5 and let me pick a knife. It was a crktm16 and it was the coolest thing in the world! From there I wanted more and as i started to get real amounts of money i started to buy more expensive knives. My first “expensive” one was a Benchmade bugout. Then a Benchmade 940. Then i got into spydercos and other brands.

Recently i picked up an electric smoker and oh boy it’s been life changing. If you want to be the “cook” in your family this is the easiest way.

Take your meat of choice and smoke it. Make sure to tell everyone how long it took to smoke so they know to tell you it tastes good

I think a dollar would be ok.
