You read the name. You know what I am.

How sad is it that the company that makes Windows has the most forgettable and disappointing hardware line-up?
I’m not surprised. It’s Microsoft. I’m just sad.
Screenbox replaced VLC UWP for me because it’s literally VLC on steroids.
Microsoft is useless. But the indie devs I’ve seen make UWP apps sure as hell understand how UWP should work.
Lots of independent UWP apps that work perfectly for me… But fair enough 😂.
I use Flow Launcher for that, but thanks!
It already has annotations I believe…
What else is there?
He made electric cars?!
I mean, for UI-UX, Figma, Lunacy, etc. are available via browser. But I despise web-based clients.
I hate to side with ElMo, but didn’t that happen because they kick started the EV car wave? And apparently their solution was also the better option, or something to that effect.
I think the most important problem with how this worked out is that many of those who left Reddit by deleting their content didn’t find a place to transfer it to on Lemmy or other platforms…
I personally have been intentionally starting conversations recently…
Can we stop with the AI-focused bullshit?
Marketing that is the second place annoyance I have…
Looks like a USA problem.
Idk about 2FA, but updating friends and family is insanely easy on most messaging platforms. I can update my phone number and then WhatsApp or Telegram will prompt those who chat with me that I’ve changed my number and they can switch to that number for chatting.
WhatsApp:
Notice received when the number is changed on WhatsApp:
Telegram:
As for contacting businesses, this seems like a personal situation, since I contact companies via the above messaging apps. So they will receive a notification about my updated number.
I’ll verify if this is optional, so we can choose if people get that notice…
Edit:
You can’t specify who gets informed. If you’ve blocked someone, they will not get that notification.
I’ve also added images above to demonstrate how it works on the two platforms I mentioned.
I don’t find this comment stupid at all! I find multi-purpose tech really cool. I just find it stupid that they did it by saying that they launched some sort of technological marvel.
That is 100% true. They nailed marketing.
Smartphones had definitely been marketed well before, but Apple hit that “elite and distinguished” spot.
Indeed.
I mean, you don’t technically get them back anyway… You get a consolation prize…
Fair. I was actually looking forward to learning about the old stuff they did since I was definitely sure they’ve done no such thing in the recent years afaik (which isn’t much anyway)
The advertisement for the Studio was insane!
