Yes they have an IG but I doubt the birthdate they gave is their real one.

Fix*d this for you. Watch your languag*! Th*r* ar* childr*n h*r*! C*nsor your profanity.
A company I used to work for outsourced most of their coding to a company in India. I say most because when the code came back the internal teams anways had to put a bunch of work in to fix it and integrate it with existing systems. I imagine that, if anything, LLMs will just take the place of that overseas coding farm. The code they spit out will still need to be fixed and modified so it works with your existing systems and that work is going to require programmers.
Oh yeah, I love learning things. It doesn’t mean I love actually doing them.
How will we know something extraterrestrial comes our way? They’ll have their own mitochondria, because something needs to power their cells, and it won’t be the same as ours.
New writing prompt, aliens show up and they are wildly different from us but they and all life on their planet also use the exact same mitochondria as us.
Isn’t whatsapp owned by Zucc?
It’s a timeshare and it is basically a scam for most people. Basically you’re buying time to stay at the place that you can technically use at any time year round as long as you book it in advance. The problem is that all of the days that most people go on vacations (spring break, summer, holidays, etc) will already be booked by the 500 other people who also bought the same thing. So really the only times you will actually be able to use the place are when no one else wants to be there.
If you have the ability and desire to drop everything and vacation there on a random week whenever it happens to be available then it can still be a good deal for you, but most people have obligations like work, school, or family that limits when they can just drop everything and leave to spend time at their timeshare.
Signal is an improvement over twitter or facebook mesenger. There is no way I would be able get my friend group to switch from those to XMPP but I did get then to at least switch to signal. Is it a perfect solution? No. But it’s a hell of a lot better than what came before. Eventually I might get them over to something better like XMPP but nontechnically inclined people can’t make that jump in one go.
Looking at this as someone familiar to FOSS is a completely different perspective than for the average person. If you tell the average person to use XMPP then they’re going to type XMPP into their preinstalled app store and get confused about “which app is the XMPP app”.
I don’t know where you’re getting the idea that UL certified goods are super expensive. UL is the bare minimum. I have a $10 UL certified lamp on my desk right now. Certifications like TUV and similar are the more expensive ones.
I’m not familiar with that library.
Does your family use password managers? (And dear god not Lastpass, with their breech a couple years ago).
What is the recomended password manager right now? Currently I still have google storing all my passwords but I’m working on degoogling so that will have to go at some point.
Be careful with vitamin D though. That is one of the very very few vitamins that you can actually take too much of because it’s fat soluble, not water soluble, so excessive vitamin D will build up in your fat cells rather than just getting peed out. It’s called vitamin D toxicity (VDT) and it can have some unpleasant neurological effects among other things.
So it’s probably a good idea to get your levels checked anyways just to make sure you’re taking the right amount if you need it.
Find a boss who doesn’t care. So far I’ve never had a boss that insists that I look busy all the time. As long as I’m getting my work done they don’t care what I do. I spend a lot of time at my desk reading books on my phone. If your boss is being an ass about you using your downtime how you want when all of your work is done then that is not someone you want to work for.
If they don’t get demonitized or falsely copyright claimed.
Welcome to imposter syndrome, it means you’re a professional.
As far as how you can be more comfortable that heavily depends heavily on what your job is. Some jobs have more direct feedback than others. But largely it will just take time. You’re still the new guy from the sound of it so it will take time to learn how your workplace works and what the exact expectations are. In the mean time just remember that as long as you aren’t consistently getting negative feedback on the same things then odds are you’re doing perfectly fine. Doing things wrong ocasionally is expected because you are human, but as long as you are learning from those times then you are already doing better than a lot of people. If nobody is telling you that you aren’t meeting expectations at your reviews then either you are meeting expectations or you have a bad manager.
Weve got it at basically every kwiktrip in MN but thats probably because it’s commonly used in seasonal vehicles (ATVs, Boats, Snowmobiles, etc.)
lemmy.ml has some absolutely draconian censorship. The word that was censored was probably b.u.l.l.s.h.i.t. (hopefullly it doesnt catch that). It’s also quickly going full blown tankie.
If you want an instance that doesn’t censor stuff like a club penguin chat and isn’t run by people who regard Joseph Stalin as their personal hero then a good one to try is sh.itjust.works. I only use lemmy.world because it’s the only one I could sign up for when I did. If I signed up now then I would probably go for sh.itjust.works or lemmy.dbzer0.com.
I bought starsector but I have no idea what my actual key is anymore so I always just use the key from SsethTzeentach’s video on it. So it’s technically piracy but from what I’ve heard the Starsector dev doesn’t care that people just use that key because that video and the key being released publicly made their sales go way up anyways. They’re one of the few devs that realizes that piracy doesn’t actually hurt their sales.
Copyright doesn’t matter for AI training data because that AI is considered a derivitive work therefor using whatever content they find for training data is fair use under current copyright law. People are literally training AI on Pixar content without copyright being an issue.
Also if you don’t want people using your stuff then why are you posting it in the open in a public board that basically everyone has access to? If you want to protect something then the first step would be not handing it to everyone and everything with an internet connection.
All the people I watch on youtube make the majority of their money on patreon or twitch. Youtube is way too heavy handed with demonitization and copyright strikes to be a trutsworthy income source.
