Gustephan@lemmy.worldtoAsklemmy@lemmy.ml•Does an Influx of Former Reddit Users create a Shift in Athmosphere?0·2 months agoEhh. We’ve had the divisiveness and vitriol that comes from leftist infighting for at least as long as I’ve been here. That being said, I myself came here from reddit when they banned 3rd party reader apps so idk if lemmy was some pre-corpo internet paradise before I got here. The only thing I really notice when waves of people leave reddit is that we get a handful of conservatives on lemmy when that happens, which is a magical time when all of the disparate leftists on the platform come together to cyberbully the conservatives off of lemmy.
It’s not funny, it’s gatekeeping.
Linux community: why don’t more people use Linux? Also Linux community: LOL LOOK AT THESE STUPID FUCKERS TRYING LINUX WRONG, LETS ALL GO SHIT ON THEM
goddamn do yall deserve eachother and your 0.01% OS share or whatever meaningless percentage of the OS market you represent.
Oh dang, I totally missed the name of this community when I commented. My knowledge of and opinions on rf connectors come from working on large aircraft mounted systems, where turbulence can cause a nightmare of threaded connector sleeves vibrating loose and bent pins. In this situation you either need vibration damping or a more mechanically robust connector like BNC
SMA or bust. The other three connector types introduce a lot of noise compared to SMA in my experience. BNC is my goto if I want a noise profile similar to SMA but the device I’m working with isn’t vibration damped.
It’s depressing how many top level comments or replies are about how people like that there is a technical barrier gatekeeping lemmy. Are yall actually leftists or do you just pretend to be while worshipping your own version of social hierarchy in which us nerds are on top?
