What the fuck was the point of your comment?

If Discord was not available in Linux or browser then yes, I would use Windows because all my friends do.

Oh maybe that’s why sometimes 7 Days To Die Crashed for me ;o
Welp this is nice.

I’m so happy for him. He seems so excited about Linux and has done much more customization than I have XD

I felt this too. I made a new PC from a 3080 to a 7900 XT and I went from 30 FPS in Monster Hunter WIlds to 110 FPS (using linux). Even though I improved the CPU from 3800x to 9800 X3D, I feel like the 20 GB VRAM is the biggest factor. I hope Intel can catch up with GPUs because AMD is the only reasonable option rn.

God it feels so good looking at this news with a newly bought AMD GPU thinking “I don’t have to worry about NVIDIA’s bullshit anymore.” 🥳

Let’s not become delusional now. Linux as an overall operating system feels much better to use but only because we care to become tech savvy and to troubleshoot. There are so many headaches that come with Linux which makes it unattractive to most people.
We are probably not most people.

His Hitler salute is probably the least damaging thing he’s done ever since he became president.

He’s using us instead of vomiting all those errors messages into chatgpt to translate it into something more readable.
Bazzite is definitely a good choice for a PC that you’ll use like a console. But because it’s an atomic OS (immutable) downloading less popular apps may be a bit annoying. It’s not impossible but just keep that in mind if you ever get frustrated. If an immutable OS isn’t working for you, then id give Nobara OS a try.

Apparently you don’t know how it works either, read the reply to that reply.

Even as a Lemmy user, I still don’t know how the Fediverse works completely. You’re just lying to yourself if you think understanding Mastodon is easier then just making a blue sky account.

Ubuntu is run by Canonical and people have mixed opinions about them. It mostly stems from their insistence on using snaps to run apps when other versions are supposedly faster (flatpack).
I think that’s the biggest issue otherwise Ubuntu is fine and I use it on all my VMs.
Davinci, yes but it can be frustrating to set up.
Unreal, I’m pretty sure yes. I don’t see why not. I think it takes effort to setup though.
Adobe, No.
You might unironically want to go for Mac. Either the laptop or desktop XD
