I’m having the same problem. I just had to switch recently because I can’t get tpb. In Australia.

I went to buy a steamer, because my last one finally fell apart. And I happen to mention I’ll be after a toaster next, did they have the brand/model I like (it’s just been tested to toast well) the salesguy says oh have you heard about the ai one, I’m getting one, they’re such a saving atm, down from $600 to $400! I straight up said wtf, why. He said oh it looks at your toast while you toast it. It was so hard not to let him know he is a fucking idiot. He wasn’t trying to sell me on it, he genuinely wanted to buy it for himself.

I’m on the path to better systems than this, but as I’m too time poor, I gotta go with apps, and I just thought you might like to know I had as many songs in my Spotify Playlists and ported them over to Qobuz in seconds, if you want something quick for now. Qobuz talks you through it.

Because the propaganda aimed at getting women to remember their place and get back to domestic chores, still lingers today and people think that’s HOW it was, not that they had to try and shove a cat back in a bag, somehow. When women had to do all the blokey jobs while the men’s were all at war, and realised, yeah, they’re capable of this, sometimes better at it, earning a wage, something unheard of for women, as they would still need a man to have a bank account or credit card or sign anything or have a lease on a house, until the 1970s, in some places. But yeah. It wasn’t like that. Women were miserable and oppressed and drugged up just to get by. Grandma’s hydrangeas were sometimes the only way to leave a violent relationship. But yeah, probs was fine for the blokes. They got to fight in a war, pocket some trauma to take home, force themselves back into the daily grind with no recognition of that trauma and nowhere to outlet it… I’m not going to start on intergenerational trauma, I promise.
Either that or, the grass is always greener… Yk.

Oh thanks! Great idea, back up to a back up. And good to know, I was feeling a little daunted, tbh.

Oh, em gosh, thank you so much! I might actually know a work around, your back up sparked a memory for me, I think I’ve been backing up to some dusty old hdd here and there, I might be able to patch most of it, without google photos! I might see what I can Frankensteins monster outta that, first. That’s such a detailed response, I so hugely appreciate your help, all those photos mean so much to me. Thanks friend!!

I’ve been using google photos for 13 years, haaalp! Is there an app that could drag everything over, possibly? Plus which supports that level of storage, I don’t care if I have to pay. I would rather pay and know I support competitive, but less evil software.
That is another reason to avoid it, at least for now. If you don’t watch it, you don’t talk about it, you don’t give them free advertising. Piracy evokes demand in many ways. It will still be around in 20 years when no one is looking, anymore.
