I tried looking for an instruction PDF for some stage lights the other day. No amount of “google-fu” could find the right thing. Links labeled as one model showed stuff for other models when clicked, and the god awful summary that it shoves in your face was just full of contradictions of itself. Just be aware, many of these cameras have multiple other cameras pointing at eachother. Also the map cant be trusted to show all cameras. my neighborhood alone, has at least 4 that dont show up on the map.

I switched months ago after some full screen pop up for Windows 11 took over my whole screen in the middle of me doing stuff. In a blind rage, i plugged my usb in and downloaded Pop. Did a full clean install and never looked back. There have been some hiccups, but nothing that couldn’t be fixed right away.

I have a theory that YT deliberately makes you wait the length an ad would have been if you have uBlock Origin installed. Ive just let it “buffer” for 30 seconds or so and it will eventually load the video.

Im guilty of this. I dont write out the passwords in plaintext though. Its mostly just a few letters to remind me of which version of my many “master” passwords i used and then asterisks. _{P***W0*******$} kinda thing. I know its bad but I can’t bring myself to trust a password manager.

Im not sure when the update came out but I’ve had two forced updates in the past 3-4 months for my Pixel 6. Im assuming thats when it changed. I am very meticulous about checking settings after updates but It looks like this was only online settings for your google account, not local to the phone, which is probably how I missed it.

Funny how I turned off any data sharing for google years ago but the inclusion of gemini somehow voids my previous decision.

That brings up a good point though. Based on just the screenshot here, it seems like the user wont have a choice of what gets uploaded. People keep some pretty raunchy photos on their phone sometimes. Even kids might have some questionable photos. This is just asking for trouble.

A few weeks after my mom passed, I was reading a book winding down for the night. I set the book down in the middle of a very large coffee table and went to bed. Maybe 20 mins after laying down I heard a loud bang in the living room. I shot outta bed and grabbed a bat and went to investigate. In the living room, on the floor about 5 feet from the table, was the book I was reading. There were no animals or other people in the house and all the doors and windows were locked. This was a heavy hardcover book, so I don’t think wind or something like that picked it up and threw it. Im skeptical by nature but I still can’t come up with an explanation for that one.

I had the same issue with my old Galaxy s7. Let me tell you, seeing “911” on your caller ID when youve been smoking all evening is not a fun experience.

I have like 3 full wardrobes full of different sizes of clothes. I got my skinny normal and fat clothes so all id have to do is change weight to get access to new(ish) clothes to wear. That being said, probably not long.
