I’ve had Proton for a while, I’m satisfied, would recommend.

Thanks, some of this makes sense. But why is it then not constantly flickering? They usually flicker for, say, five seconds then they stop flickering for 20 then they flicker again and so on. Or they flicker for like a minute then they’re fine for a couple more minutes, then back again flickering. The timings vary a lot from house to house.

Met a guy on Tinder. We were both of the same country of origin so we decided to meet. He said there was a nice national park nearby with beaches we could check out.

Neither of us had been there before. When we finally made it to the small, secluded beach we realised it was a nudist beach and favored by older gay couples. Most of the people were men in their 60s just enjoying their day.

We were the only two dressed so it was sort of awkward. He apologized a lot for picking a nudist beach, he had no idea. I found it hilarious. We were not each other’s vibe after all but we had a good day in spite of the awkward setting

If the podcast is available on YouTube, Newpipe does the job brilliantly and you even have forks/options to skip sponsor ads too.

Local takeaway. And I’m picky about which ones. More expensive but enjoyable.

I don’t bother paying the cheap chain stores, but if it’s free (ie. at an event or gathering) I’ll eat it. Still not my first choice though

An app that lets you watch YouTube, among other platforms, anonymously and without ads. You can follow channels, save playlists, search, the whole thing.

Edit: you can also play videos in a pop up, or fullscreen, or on the background; and I find it more battery efficient than the official YouTube app. The only thing you can’t do is comment, but you can read all the comments if you wish.

Well I’m not going to claim there are a lot of movies in this category and I haven’t watched them all but I enjoy Joel Haver’s content on YT. He’s been releasing films this year.

Edit: what makes them interesting to me is the unique approach and personality they have. Unconventional stories, the indie feeling, the way the topics are presented.

Fair enough, though there aren’t any bulletproof solutions for this. I am inclined to think the solution would be with encryption and security and not so much altering the images themselves. Fuck AI, corporate greed and the uselessly slow legal system.
