When this happens, hopefully soon, we will start seing reductions in fossil fuel, and especially oil, cosumption. The adoption of EVs will increase further as soon as bettery cosy falls further, wich is expected in the next few years due to increased supply of lithium and thecnologiasl breakthroughs in EV energy mangement

I have bought a lot of Sonoff products myself. The temperature/humidity sensors work excellent and on the spot. On the contrary the door sensors (2 out of 3 )tend to disconnect. The same goes for the motion sensors.
I ll try my luck with the aqara sensors.

I would call ethical piracy any kind of data acquiring that would otherwise be unattainable. A more common example is any kind of software and/or content that you pay and therefore should own and for any kind of reason the seller/provider restricts your acces to it.
Coprorations do not want anyone to own the hardware they sell by denying the right to repair, let alone software. The mere sence is unethical, so it’s ethical to at least acquire software through piracy.
