Someone who hasn’t used Facebook for over 6 years, I’m still trying to convince my grandfather that I don’t actually know anything about the platform and that he probably knows more about Facebook than I do. cause honestly I don’t recognize it anymore
I blocked it at the router, so nowadays I don’t use it unless there’s an article I really need to access
I think a lot of it is to do with the actual chance that the individual is going to get charged with it, big companies generally go after the Distributors and not the individuals regarding it. Plus staying online that you did something doesn’t prove that you actually did it so they would still have to get solid evidence that you actually did it which costs money A lot of times more money than they would have lost from the pirating activity in the first place which is why a lot of them just settle for sending a dmca to the ISP and the ISP for as it saying LOL you better not be doing this
Mine wasn’t a selling console, it was a “I’m sure I can fix this” and it was my old original Fat PS3 with backwards compatibilit. Back when I was first looking into technology as a hobby/passion, my ps3 stopped working, me being ignorant decided “lets take it apart to see if anythings burnt”, well I never put it back together again when I was done saying I would do it later, I never ended up doing so, and while I still have what I think is most of the pieces, I’m 80% sure that it is missing pieces, but I also haven’t had the time to do a proper once over on it.
thanks! I figured it was on my end since I was mobile using a new app! lol
weird I have a 404 error on that link
I use Bacula to an external drive, it was a pain in the ass to configure but once it’s running its super reliable and easily extended to other drives or folders
unfortunately with that style of software it also encourages crackers to pirate the subscription in, I know many are doing that with netlimitor because with newer releases it is forcing a paid bi yearly sub in place of the perma license. I’m holding onto my keys and staying on the older version for as long as I can. Sublime Text is the same way
this is gold, thank you
