They do when you use ublock origin. That element selector has been doing a lot of good work for me lately.

I was so confused when I saw your comment until I reread my own. It really is top notch technology I guess!
How did you know? Really though I was looking at the picture in the article which is from similar technology about a decade ago.
“All seeing” except it’s using radar to evaluate typography and biomass. What am I missing that makes this “absolutely fucked”?

121·9 months agoPixel is a decent alternative, and de-googled pixel is even better yet.
I’ve noticed people cite em-dashes as concrete proof that something is ai generated, but I’ve seen them be inserted/auto corrected by word plenty of times.
Do you have recommendations for fixing discoverability? I can browse by category on streaming apps, but that just shows the top ten or twenty titles. Beyond that it’s search by name or scroll alphabetically.

8·1 year agoShort comments scream human to me more than long comments. Like that guy who never posts any comments shorter than three paragraphs all perfectly formatted and punctuated.
My point is that I don’t search for or subscribe to communities, though. Instead I browse all and mute communities I’m not interested in. This is much harder to do on global all.
In my view this isn’t a problem that needs to be fixed, it’s just something new users have to get used to.
It’s also my biggest complaint, but I avoid it by just browsing local all.

2·1 year agoWe can help on a very small scale by planting a variety of native plants and not using pesticide or herbicide. I don’t know much about the risks of fertilizer on a small scale, but it’s generally not needed for native plants anyways.

1·1 year agoYes, I also want smaller phones. Even my “regular” sized phone doesn’t fit into running shorts phone pockets unless I remove the case, but even then it’s a tight fit.
