Have you checked the piracy mega thread? I think they have a few online audiobook sites listed there but correct me if I’m wrong.
Edit: if you have a library card, you could use Libby for listening to audiobooks for free.
Yo. Prolly doing some dumb shit.

I see you’re on Lemmy.ml. It’s PROBABLY because of that. That instance is really big so it causes posts to not load and what not . Go to a smaller one. Like in the ~1k range or something and I’m SURE all of these problems will go away. It was the same for me when I first joined Lemmy and picked Lemmy.ml. The following day I switched to Lemmy.ca back when it had ~40 users.
Yea, I’ll be trying to do that. Find fulfillment from somewhere, whether it be my job, or somewhere else, or a little bit of both both. Thanks.
Oh ok thanks
I didn’t even think about the library! I’ll check that out later. Once high school starts again, I’ll ask them if they offer career counseling. Thank you.
I’ll keep that in mind, thanks
Oh ok thank you! By the way, what do you mean by career progression?
I didn’t know general ed classes existed. It’s definitely gonna be a help for me if I don’t get a general idea of what I want to do by then.
Is it still useful for someone who lives in Canada? I live in Canada.
Yea that seems about right. I wanna find a job that I’ll be content enough with doing for at least 5-10 years, but not necessarily something I love. Something that pays the bills is very important since it’s what you need to survive and I also don’t want to be stuck in a career where I’m struggling to survive or have room for my hobbies and free time.
What do you do now?
Yeah that’s probably the mindset I’m gonna have. A lot of people throughout the internet have been saying that you usually end up switching career paths a few times so I’ll probably try to look for something I can see myself doing for the next 5-10 years. Still gotta find that thing though!
Yup, best to do it like !communityname@instance.whatever because /c/whatever is Reddit language, and you don’t know what instance it’s on if you use /c/, so you can’t go to that community.
I feel like an option to edit it for an amount of time would be neat. Like after ~1 hour you can’t edit the title anymore or something. That’ll prevent trolls, and will get people enough time to realize and fix their spelling mistakes.
Ya, I use Reddit for stuff I’m working on like learning a language that isn’t on Lemmy right now, but I only use Reddit ~25% of the time I used to now.
The “Traverse” tab shows your subscriptions if I’m not mistaken. Honestly it should just be called the subscriptions tab because I’ve seen two people confused about this today.

I mean, I’m from Canada, so North American library card?
