Interesting. I tried the exact wording you used and it gave results with no issue. I tried the same wording as OP and it said it can’t give advice, although it did summarize an Israel BDS compaign
Unfortunately located in the land of the “free”

Why not? All the Fox and Facebook misinformation radicalized them once. Why couldn’t they change again?

Any company with experienced IT staff could do 80% of SaaS themselves, but they don’t because it’s a huge headache to maintain and issues can easily balloon costs. The bean counters much prefer fixed cost contracts most of the time

While the idea behind AI was that it would automate manual tasks and help workers focus on more value-added activities, some workers fear it will outright replace them — and that’s already happening
Yeah, it already happened to the journalist that would have written this article. I find it a bit funny that the picture caption is just the prompt they used to generate it

At least some of the negligence is on Google, for the atrocious default security settings in Firebase
The vulnerability is called hospital gown because they leave the back end wide open by design. It’s not even a traditional vulnerability, since it’s technically working as intended

yes devs are either super green or even mostly AI
Solely blaming the devs tells me you have no experience with Firebase security

That’s exactly what hacking is.
'90s hacking movies may have given you a different idea of what cybersecurity looks like, but this is what the real world is like
Also, Google deserves a scolding here. Firebase’s default configuration is absolutely atrocious. One of the few critical vulnerabilities I’ve seen where the system is working as intended. Dubbed the hospital gown vuknerability because they leave the backend wide open by default

Mildly pedantic, but uBlock blocks the connection before it enters your network

They already make money hand-over-fist on Azure. Cloud computing is already quite expensive

Curl? You thunk I can’t craft my own web requests??

For basic fact checking like this, it’s basically useless. You’d have to go look it up to verify anyway, so it’s just an extra step. There’s use cases for it, but this isn’t it

It worked for Wal-Mart
Which isn’t really a sustainable business model, but it’s quite successful

in the end, IT is by definition always something administrative rather than actually productive
Lol, what?
Might as well say mechanics are administrative too

Out of tens of millions of children, that’s nothing. It was pure fear mongering
probably SSL
*TLS
SSL has been deprecated for a decade at this point

Anonymous data sources are largely a myth. The idea you can have large sets of data remain anonymous is unrealistic. Once you have enough data points, it’s easy to de-anonymize almost any individual

(Although they have since taken down their PSA woth no explanation)

I don’t know why I do this to myself, but I read through Meta’s disclosure
Every single lobbyist I looked at worked in DC before becoming a lobbyist. I knew it happened a lot, but it’s really depressing to see
Also, why do these disclosures not require companies to specify how the money was spent? There are only ~20 different lobbyists mentioned, and Meta spent 7.6M in a single quarter
It’s baffling to me that it had to be made. Why would a country be equated to a religion? It’s like saying the current Saudi government represents all of Islam
