Their legal page mentions the Netherlands, Finland, and Germany. I don’t know which of the latter two they’re hosted in but their hosting company is German, and Germany are a bunch of assholes when it comes to copyright.
Per https://lemmy.world/post/13320356, they got a takedown notice and started going through everything with a fine toothed comb.
This sounds like a question for an IP lawyer, not an internet forum.
The day an officer isn’t accompanying it, if not before
And the sign said anybody caught trespassing
Would be shot on sight.
So I jumped over the fence and I yelled at the house,
“Hey, what gives you the right
To put up a fence to keep me out
Or to keep mother nature in?”
If God was here he’d tell you to your face
“Man, you’re some kind of sinner!”
Then there’s a lot of the US that they’re not going to function properly in.
The writer reminds me of Terry Davis, except not as bright.
I bought my own router and modem because of that. Cox started locking router features away inside their app and wanted $10/month to change settings on a modem/router combo I was already paying $8/month to rent!

I’m not sure if you’d want to employ it as your DHCP server though. You may get a chicken and the egg problem there.
Do read the fine print on the page. Images will only last between 30 and 365 days on 0x0.st.
it’s not strictly illegal
You’re not gonna like this but the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act in the US is so ridiculously broad that damn near anything that you do to/in a network that the owner doesn’t permit could be illegal.
Linux Mint turned snap off back in 2020 and replaced the snap packages with debs again.
But then they release it and ask in the forums “We released a new update. Did we break anything for you?” instead of actually performing integration testing.
Depends on if you want the new shiny on things other than KDE.
KDE Neon is Ubuntu 22.04.1 but the newest KDE stuff all the time. The base system won’t upgrade until 24.04.1 in November 2024. There’s still updates like a regular LTS though.
They still can be. The state bar has to decide on that.
Here it’s “barking up the wrong tree”
