  • This comment includes all the shows I would also recommend.

Babylon 5 came out about the same time as Star Trek DS9. The first season is sometimes hard to get through, but well worth it. The character development and storylines are mostly excellent as they grow and intersect throughout the show. Season 5 can take or leave.

Farscape is another one where some people are turned off by the Jim Henson puppetesque characters. Another older show but has some great storylines and character development.

Red Dwarf, older British Humor, silly.

Highly recommend giving Farscape and Bab5 a try.

  • I’ve been hopping around between the different Android apps and PWAs however, I always seem to come back to Voyager (wefwef). My primary app on Reddit was sync and hope to return to it if it functions as it did on the other site. If not, I am enjoying Connect and Jerboa. Thunder, Summit, and Liftoff have small things I would like to see tweaked and/or they have minor bugs that they are still ironing out, but I am not yet sold on a specific app yet until we get further down the road.

  • I don’t currently work out but used to and had a high-energy fast-paced random list of music I liked. When I say random, it was really random like Metallica to Daft Punk to Animaniacs to Broadway songs. One day, before earbuds were a thing, I happened to be recklessly flailing my arms on while on the treadmill and pulled my headphones cord out of the phone. Phone hit the floor blaring the song “Uncle fucker” from the Southpark movie. I scrambled to get to the phone and make my embarrassment less prolonged. Luckily, I think most other folks in the area were either too focused on their own activities or listening to their own music. Needless to say, from that day on, I was more selective in editing my playlists for various activities.
