TIL such a thing existed and NGL this looks really really cool.
This post made my day. Thanks for sharing.
Nothing to see here, just some old farts thinking they know what are even talking about
It’s not exactly fault of AI. It’s a human problem. People have been doing this for years now but AI does make it easier.
So basically I just run Syncthing on all 3 devices? The 3rd device being a VPS something like that?
Syncthing works fine. The problem is, my laptop is not on all the time and in case my phone has a problem, I’ll lose all my changes during the 3 days I’m out of my house.
I second this. I love Nickelback. They are unique in their own way .
Oh okay. I’m on keiyoushi repo as of now, so it’s fine.
It’s a Tachiyomi extension repo, not a Mihon one right? Or is my understanding wrong?
Use a python script. Use the subprocess function to run the ffmpeg command.
And as always, remember to short it.
I’m also a IT guy, I can see many things like data engineering, document verification, data entry etc being automated. Some jobs won’t disappear but the headcount in companies surely will decrease. A lot of these automation stuff don’t even need AI, it’s just smarter and more efficient softwares we are having nowadays. A lot these high paying jobs won’t need experienced high salaried people instead companies will hire freshers or those from developing countries at low wages.
If somebody can scrap that annoying song from the internet it would be win for humanity
I agree with you. With GPU encoding the options to tweak are less and the quality drop is noticeable if the source ain’t that great. But if you try to encode a full movie on a weak CPU it’s going to take ages.
Or use A FFMPEG script to sort all the x264 videos and keep it in a separate folder and use handbrake with GPU and mass convert all the videos in that particular folder. AV1 is also good but as some other user said, your hardware needs to support it.
Kind of. But this is encoded using CPU and will be time consuming. Search for FFMPEG GPU acceleration. The installation (building) will take some time but the time saved during mass conversion of videos will be worth it. I believe FFMPEG supports RCOM on Amd and Cuda on Nvidia . So any gpu should be fine.
True …My bad, forgot about the 300$ budget part
