Perhaps I’m being pedantic, but even in your quoted definition we don’t know that it’s spyware. Because 1) we don’t know if it takes full control 2) it’s there with our knowledge. I still can’t agree to your conclusion in your first comment that it is. It might be, but I’d phrase that differently.

Yup this is called per-object motion blur and is more common in modern games. I’m still not that big of a fan but I’ve heard good things about it from other high framerate enjoyers

I was excited for it but ended up refunding it as well but a lot of people seem to really enjoy it so they’ll be alright
