I am not sure that is a positive trait about the USA.
Capitalists put you in jail for marijuana. They used to put you in jail for alcohol. Hell, child labor is used in capitalist countries. China honestly is an authoritarian mixed economy. But perhaps, even in the USA, authoritarism is preferred.
WireGuard will get you the best through put, IPSEC is a close second. OpenVPN has a lot of overhead.
So, I got a ba in political science and like two minors. I ended up doing computer repair for a good decade then got into a job doing purchasing then eventually got into IT sourcing/procurement. I wouldn’t be able to do that if I didn’t have some good fundamentals in reading and writing, which the BA provided.
But in the long run, it doesn’t matter once you get work experience. The degree is a check box at some point.
My conflict would be between giving up my free time after work to recruiting to have more fun at work, or deal with people that aren’t as good. Am I reading that right?
