I’m happy to hear this but honestly I’m confused as to how flipboard is supposed to work with federated media. I thought it was basically an RSS aggregator? Could someone explain

I think ublock is working on a fix
Unfortunately this is a very classic far leftist take. Easy to blindly justify a cause you’ve been told to believe in when you simply dehumanize what you’ve been told are the villains
yeah like I could put hondahack in my car’s head unit pretty easily but 1) I’m worried that it might change the tuning of my engine and 2) it would void any warranty I have on the car I have left - totally agreed with having the ability but not willing to take the risk
lately ive been using boosts to just bookmark stuff
Thanks! I’ve been looking for this as well
I can’t believe I never thought about that - gotta try this later today
Typo in the article - “found inn”
I love beeper - very excited for people to get access to it
After some browsing I found another option - whoogle which seems to be a self-hosted search engine? I didn’t look into it too much but this also seems very interesting
this was super neat! thanks for sharing
kagi seems very enticing to me, but man thats expensive… anyone here use it?
this got me to laugh out loud when I opened Elonged Muskrat’s wikpedia page and found it completely blurred out. Thank you!!!
I predict this being looped into the instagram app and being just as out of place as reels are … but they’re going to force influencers to use them and thereby minting its success
He’s right. It’s not ready for the masses/ those who aren’t technologically inclined. Afaik ddos protection pretty much breaks federation which is a problem in of itself.
Seems to be a lot of work to be done still
Lol I feel frustrated that this has to be said at all. Isn’t it obvious that a back door of any kind is basically a flare gun inviting hackers to gain access? Politicians are so silly
saw this too! looks like it broke a ton of tweet embeds too… Muskrat says its to mitigate scrapers but–this feels heavy handed
Nah it’s not just a state. A lot of Ob/Gyn physicians no longer feel comfortable practicing in states with extremely prohibitive abortion laws because it genuinely limits what kind of healthcare they can practice. This limits access to care, which can result in poor outcomes.
