The right to repair - countered by the right to hustle.
This bear don’t care
The right to repair - countered by the right to hustle.
On one hand, I’m happy this is happening. On the other hand, it feels like it should’ve been done around 2010.
Thank you for educating me twice: Kleptocracy and kakistocracy. Now I can refer to my government with astute Greek terminology!
I also believed he did it out of personal motivation, but what’s this about Saudis and being a puppet?
Around 2020 I ditched Windows for good, got me a high end AMD gaming rig, installed Ubuntu, regretted it, moved to Manjaro and been happy ever since.
Yeah I mixed up resistance with charge, superconductors are probably meaningless for batteries.
Sorry, i confused the lack of energy loss from resistance to “charge”, so I’m wrong.
It might be more relevant for semi conductors in order to save energy. Maybe railguns.
Maglev could become more common and more effective, but a “no-limit” battery comes to mind (no resistance=infinite charge) which could make each city or nation own an endless reservoir of energy. Goes well with renewables.
Those are just 2 ideas. I’m sure there will be a lot more.
EDIT: ignore the “no limit” battery, that’s a mistake. I mixed resistance with charge and made a stupid and wrong statement.
What do you mean by certification? I’m working in a company now that started off using CentOS and pivoted to Ubuntu/Debian. What Certifications are needed?
I remember a lot of people telling me that redhat and CentOS are the professional way to go a couple of years back
Right now, IBM are making Ubuntu look better and that’s a HARD sale with them shitty snaps.
Kinda with ya on that one - Wayland maturing and becoming standardized across all features and platforms to replace X11.
Hanna Montana would like a word.
Between CentOS and Fedora, I reckon people would’ve started moving to Ubuntu, except Ubuntu is making even worse choices.
As someone who was personally accosted by them (2 years until they traded my Librem 5 order to a “NUC” that I would’ve gotten cheaper somewhere else), I find it important to always notify people to approach this company with a caution - ESPECIALLY if you’re not an American. It’s like that South Park skit with the cable company.
Is Elon Musk planning to be the next runner up for the republicans? Dear sweet spaghetti monster in the sky, do not let him!
