that was the last time i contributed; i created a LCARS port and now there are hundreds of them everywhere.

that won’t happen; straight women and gay men are very different animals
turning off voters is the biggest reason why we don’t vote imo in this environment and there’s nothing you can do about shitty choices that the democrats will give us; but there’s things you can do to overcome the other institutional part of it; aka gerrymandering:
setup free voting ride shares with free filling snacks in gerrymandered states that will pick each person up from home; drop them off at their polling station; pick them up from there; and then drop them off at home w/o having to wait for everyone to finish voting. the lines are VERY long and take hours in heavily gerrymandered places like houston texas and people hate voting already; so making them wait or skip dinner to vote is a non-starter.
setup free voting phone number and/or website that will help register you to vote (not just tell you what you need to do) on your behalf and include the option to mail you a pre-filled envelope and stamp if paper registration is required. advertise it HEAVILY on all forms of media everywhere and make it clear it’s not from the government.
then, assign a case worker to every client to ensure that the registration was completed and followup on the problems that gerrymandered places usually create to suppress votes. also get lawyers or people familiar with election laws to file inquiries on each voter’s behalf each time a gerrymandered place manages to find a reason to disqualify a voter and use that case worker to manage it.
expect it to fail the first few times because people hate talking about politics so they won’t listen for the first few cycles.
i want to see straight guys duel to get straight women.
You can sort of hack that process by getting a t-shirt wet, putting it on, and allowing the moving air to help speed up the evaporation process.
better when don’t wear a shirt, spray yourself with water and sit it from of the fan; the convection feels fantastic on your skin.
i use to work IT at a place that used those cisco AP’s and i always considered getting one for myself to drown out the other AP’s in my apartment building because my wifi was always spotty no matter what channel i picked and whatever survey i took; the price tag at the time (around $1k+ at the time) was the only thing preventing me from doing so.
you’d think it doesn’t need to be said because it’s obvious, but i speak from experience that it does need to be said: make sure you don’t put them into an agitation based washer; impeller or tumble washers ONLY!
(or atleast use a laundry bag if you have only have access to an agitation washer)
and air dry them IN THE SUN!!!
the last time i tried doing something similar was with a plasma 1080i tv (yes that long ago) connected via hdmi to component adapter and i eventually learned that the nvidia driver will overwrite everything in favor of it’s own detection method, thus ignoring the custom edid i provided; perhaps the ati driver your using does something similar?
i would have tried switching to one of the open source drivers but the tv died and it’s replacement had hdmi ports and the problem went away
I could get on board if manufacturers were making $10,000 sub 50 mile vehicles that were compatible with a swap station so you could switch to a larger battery for the weekend. This would have to be a standard adopted by all however, and even before that, they’d have to make small cars. Which they won’t, because we all know they are too busy making trucks and SUVs.
they make $10k ev’s with 250 mile ranges that are for sale everywhere except the united states & canada. you can get them in australia or western europe for a 50-75%-ish tariff depending on which country you’re in…
apple products are coveted both in and out of imperial core; whether or not they can afford them.
my point is that the most well educated and leftist leaning generations we’ve ever had (i’m assuming) continues to place a premium on products like these and that makes the eventuality of breaking out of this imperialist cycle seem unrealistic.
I’m a software engineer
You’re not getting anywhere above entry level in this industry if you’re not fun
same here and fixed it for you
i’ve done this a couple times w sata and pata drives and it works; there’s lots to clean up to do, but it works.
I can’t seem to shake off the loud “It’s Gay” inside my head when something like that happens.
a very small part of me is glad i’m gay when i encounter one of the many ways that straight men are so terrified of being perceived as gay. it’s a bit like watching the video of a child freaking out in shallow water because he couldn’t touch the ground only to be corrected by being pushed into standing; except that this casual homophobia has MASSIVE impacts on people’s psyches and how they treat others.
i’ve had to use netapp ontap’s freebsd and solaris 9 & 10 professionally and going to canada is exactly how it felt; one is vancouver (compared to california) and the other was new foundland.
I wonder if younger millennials’ and Gen z’s overwhelming preference for iPhones over Androids is indicative anything in the future
same here and i think my parents got good at sticking with a groove because they had a family of 7 to feed, cloth, and house; meanwhile i have only had pets that don’t grow up to be shitty self entitled tweens.
I need 4 years of education and 5+ years of experience to work as an engineer to give people something to look at on their phones.
Police need 6 months of training to make life and death decisions and they get a pension and permanent immunity when they fuck up
that’s why i started buying from linux only companies only; it removes that headache automatically.
my most recent purchase came from kfocus. i cared mostly about price, screen brightness, speaker quality and future proofing, so the macbook air was the price & spec combo benchmark to meet (future proofing is automatic with linux companies) and kfocus’s 14-inch blew them out of the water (they don’t anymore). the other companies wouldn’t share information on brightness and speakers at the time i was shopping for a new laptop almost a year ago; but all are built on top of either tongfang or clevo base systems (for now) so future proofing is roughly the same everywhere with linux companies.
in the past i used system76 and tuxedo (tuxedo sponsored that video); i will buy from them again when it’s time for a high end system. their low end systems are REALLY low, but the price tags for them are closer to midrange somehow; their low end laptops costed the same as the kfocus but with much weaker & missing specs. (i assumed that they didn’t share the missing specs because they were too weak).
the first time i put gentoo on a g3 imac back in 2004; it took 3 days to compile everything and the computer got so hot that it warmed up the entire room like a space heater. lol
