Not really, but I haven’t used Microsoft in years.

Yes this is tough.
We use Google Workspace. I use Proton at home.
It really is.
I’ve been a Unix maximalist since I can remember, but I’ve never convinced my peers to follow.
Since windows 11 has dropped, every single one of them now has a Linux machine for one purpose or another. Some are now considering a complete purge of MS products, as I have.
It’s happening.

If my home rig started doing the stuff they’re doing, you bet I’d be in trouble. It ain’t fair.
I think disclosure is the most important piece. I don’t create anything without AI nowadays, but I’m:
- planning architecture
- addressing common exploits
- running penetration tests
- having automated code review pipes from different models
- directly specifying details of how the code should work
I’m not so sure everyone is doing that. And if anyone has advice on how to improve, let me know!
Thank you I will!

271·8 days agoWe could go back and forth all day on this, but just watch out for the government trying to claim “you need an ID for this because the anonymous people online can hurt you”.
They’ll find a way to justify it, by some string of twisted logic that makes it equivalent to killing someone in an accident. It’ll probably be about protecting the kids, it’s always about protecting the kids.
Oh well, I think we’re on the same side here. I joined the EFF!

Everyone needs a license, issued from big brother, to use the public service.
Or else!
Gemma 4! I’ve been testing it out and it has great results across a variety of applications.

You won’t see anyone admit it on this site, but the 2A keeps villages safe in the USA.
And yes, country folks can defeat the US army. It happened in Vietnam and the Middle East, it can happen at home.
