I would like to add to this conversation, “I’ve talked it over with myself and I’ve decided I’m going on strike,” is an extremely powerful thing to say.
…I didn’t promise my addition would be valuable.
Mentally ill woman in her late 30s. Quit my jobs with DIDDs to go to work a retail job and go to school.
I’m here to help!

I can’t really comment on the European experience though, so I said American, which I am, and which I am qualified to talk about.
Oh, also I have an exceedingly rare hereditary disease, so it feels like a certainty I’ll need it for myself someday.
I believe every American knows someone whose life is made substantially worse because of a lack of access to healthcare.
I want to set this up and learn to use it. I want to keep it and maintain it and wait. Because I’ll inevitably hear from someone that they can’t afford their life-saving medication.
The New Text Document makes this.
Oh, no, I have a prescription for ADHD medication. I’ve just always been curious about whether I’d have that experience.
I haven’t done it by now and I’m pushing 40. Don’t you worry about me.
I have pretty crippling ADHD and I always wanted to try cocaine because of all the stories of ADHD folks trying it and feeling calm and normal.
Just curious to see if I have the same experience.
I’m here to add my opinion that FF9 is superior to FF7.
In general, I prefer when your characters have set classes. It feels like it lets the characters have more fleshed-out personalities.
Without spoiling anything, it allows you to tell story through the medium. Have a character who spent his whole life in one class, relying on specific skills, and he maybe goes through a huge fight to signify that he’s changed for the better? Congrats. You have a class change! Now you’re a level nothing!
Maybe someone traumatizes a caster, and now they can’t concentrate, giving them a chance to fail their spells!
Anecdotally, I’m seeing a lot of parents with kids as old as 10 in carts at the grocery store, and those kids are sitting there staring at a tablet or a phone.
As young as 2, also.
It’s constant and nonstop and they don’t look up for anything.
I’m concerned.
I saw all this fuss yesterday and checked on my laptop and sure enough, mine was unchecked.
Cancel. I have had enough of those already.
Do you have any bemusing realizations handy? I could go for one of those.
I know a lot of people still have terrible fanfiction they wrote as teens on the internet somewhere, so the warning is very appropriate.
Searched it up on Google and got zero hits. Super shocked no one has said it yet but happy to add it to creative commons.
Go nuts friend.
I think this every single time I see a car covered in anime chicks. Or with a ton of anime girl statues glued to the front or back dash.
If I was going on a date and a guy pulled up with any of that on his car, I’d tell him politely but firmly that I will not be seen in his jackwagon.
I’ve been in the woods, alone, with bears in the same woods, countless times, and I clearly haven’t been eaten.
I mean, you even say in your post that being too much of a hassle to eat is all you need to do. Can’t say that any men I’ve ever talked to wanted to have less sex with me when I indicated I’m a hassle to eat.
Have we considered that maybe he murdered because he had low blood sugar?
May my self immolation warm your heart.
Just like me on a date!
Heyyoooo!
I would absolutely buy the remake. I tried playing this on my ps slim last year and new TVs make it very difficult to see the squares lining up to chain your attacks.
I can still do a few on rhythm alone but most of them are impossible…
