rDNS is something that is not set up by your domain registrar. It’s set up by your ISP or cloud VM provider.
I am an anarcho-communist and a lover of all things free and open source. I also love cats of all kinds. You can also find me on Mastodon at @housepanther@mstdn.goblackcat.com

I don’t know of one specifically for clothing but I know of a great ERP free open source software called ERPnext. This could easily work for you.
This is my take on it as well. My phone is for basic quick communication. My real productivity happens on my laptop and desktop.
Good suggestion all around but I am huge fan of ERPnext. ERPnexr is 100% open source and includes HRM, accounting, a help desk ticketing system and more.
Honestly, that still would not be enough to change my opinion here about Work From Home. We have the systems and tools at our disposal to make the office life redundant. The notion that work from home employees largely abuse the privilege is simply an opinion without any hard facts to back it up. Indeed it is actually the opposite. Employees are happier and more productive. A minority may abuse the privilege but those are the ones you fire for cause. You don’t end a system that works overwhelming well. That would be kind of like scrapping a car because there is a small scratch on it.
The old notion of having to punch a clock is over as well!
That’s really cool but still out of my price range.
Sadly, I suspected as much. 😿
Dang! Yeah, I looked at getting an Ampere proc and the price just for the proc was like 5K. Um, hang on while I shit out 5K. 🫠😆
I mean I was hoping that I could build a desktop PC like, say, you would with an AMD or Intel processor but with an ARM64 instead. I probably should have specified that. Sorry.
I’d like to apply because I am always looking for someone passionate about open source, Linux, and BSD - also networks galore. I currently run my own Mastodon and Lemmy instances. Please look me up on Mastodon at HousePanther. I am sorry your friend turned out to be an asshole and did you dirty. That’s not cool at all! There are good people out there.
No billionaire has done any good for humanity. Yes, even Bill Gates has not done a whole lot of good. He was caught red-handed donating to charities with conflicting missions with each other. Billionaires should not exist.
I’ve found DNS actually to be one of the easier services to setup. Unbound and NSD take a lot of the hard work away.
I will likely have to do the same if I am working for a company. The initial work I will most likely do though is personal projects to build a portfolio and showcase what I can do. All that stuff will be GPLv3.
I really don’t know why. There are a plethora of good articles and tutorials out there. Perhaps it would be helpful to understand what In particular makes it challenging for many so I could write a targeted article
Once I complete my web development class, I fully plan on using the GPLv3 for all of my work. I am all about free/open source. I feel like corporations need to be forced to give back to open source and not just be fucking leeches.
Came on here to say this! Lemmy is awesome. It’s not shit.
Yes, thankfully I intervened in time.
That’'s a good recommendation!
Check out lemmyverse.net. You should be able to find some with this handy search engine.
I wouldn’t do this if I were you because any of your activity can be traced back to you via your credentials.
