If you want something Apollo like, you should try Mlem. It’s pretty close to being on par feature wise.

I used to have all the Apollo clone apps waiting for one to become fully useable. For a while it seemed like they all had complimentary missing features but since Mlem got post editing and messages, I haven’t opened anything else.

Kindle plus calibre is a very nice setup. Since the base model got a back light, it’s all I need. Kindle is the one thing Amazon does okay, it works really well for reading books and it’s cheap. And it’s pretty easy to get books on it.

I get exactly what you’re saying but I’m not sure I have a great answer for you. I think it’s all about dopamine. Smoking cannabis reconnects me with that childlike feeling. Also, having a kid really helped me. Seeing the world through her eyes as she experienced childhood is amazing. Before kid I felt like I couldn’t really enjoy anything like I could before without drugs. I’m not sure how much of that is depression and how much is just getting older.

Planet oat tastes the worst but is the only one that’s not loaded up with a bunch of oil. The unsweetened original Planet Oat is good enough and 45 calories a cup. But I guess it’s the skim milk of oat milk.

We’ve had a good balance the past couple days. I like both.
