“Extremism”

lmfao the cops charged him for not having a valid boat registration or life vests. amazing.

Because if I’m watching locally I dont need them, and if I’m watching remotely Plex already offers secure remote viewing 'out of the box`. They give every user an SSL certificate and a public accessible URL at app.plex.tv. They also handle secure user authentication. The new price is stupid, but Jellyfin is not a 1:1 replacement.

A gentle reminder that Jellyin more or less requires you to set up a reverse proxy and a secure VPN to use it outside of your home.

best case scenario you spew a bunch of toxic shit into the already stressed atmosphere.

“Fires on airplanes” is, in general, a BAD THING.

I mean… I’m almost glad they haven’t figured out the power settings. Imagine if they were all running around with the lids closed and the laptops stuffed into a backpack? It would be a fire waiting to happen.

I agree, it’s looking fantastic so far. Dual-stick controls is so much nicer than the weird c-stick for first person thing. BTW do you know if there’s a way to get the shader version of the texture pack working? I assume there isn’t but thought I’d ask.

Something that I think helps it stand out is that it doesn’t rely nearly as much on “marvel style” humor. There are some funny moments but they’re more character driven you know? Like when K-2 slaps Cassian to sell the idea to the Imperials that K-2 is in charge.

You can just say you didn’t like Rogue One you don’t need to be sarcastic about it.

Rogue One is the only one of these new movies that I really enjoy and re-watch. I really didn’t expect Disney to allow that ending for the rebels sent Scarif but I’m glad they did. I also kinda love how they blend it into Episode IV.
I see someone finally made a cafeteria table for Commander Riker.
Naw he’s just the ElectroBOOM of computers. Intentionally does shit wrong to show people how not to do things.

It’s run by Luke technically, but yeah it’s under Linus Media Group. A lot of creators I like (such as Wade from Dank Pods) are on there.

the only real alternatives to youtube for me are probably curiousity stream and floatplane, both of which cost subscriptions i can’t afford at the moment.
edit also Nebula! forgot about that one.

yeahhh thats the invidious frontend i was gonna install.

It’s like they want people to block ads holy crap. Next chance I get I’m installing invidious on my parent’s roku so they can skip this garbage.

Abusing the already broken youtube copyright strike system is not doing anyone a favor holy shit.
This is the same business model that tech “startups” use, just at a vastly accelerated time table. Upend some existing market (in this case, several markets) by burning through cash at an unsustainable rate. Once your customers have been hooked, and/or the alternatives eliminated as competitors, you crank up the prices to try and make the business cashflow positive.
