He has grown one more grey hair.
Good day to you.
He has grown one more grey hair.
It’s in the fediverse now…
No, it means these cpu’s where planned to be patched. Now they will patch all 3000 series cpu’s.
There was a time when technology was considered communal progress, exciting and uplifting, in my days people (home computing enthousiast) getting together at a community center, for example C64 and Amiga gatherings in the Hague in the Netherlands, talking about what games, software you had packed or unpacked on the limited disk space you had, hardware modifications, LAN parties, shareware, mod trackers, group demo’s et cetera.
It was really good as long as it lasted and better than anything social media. Excuse my rant I am old and getting depressed from ‘techmology’ news.
I come from the ZX 81, Spectrum, C64 and Amiga days….I made a lot of music on C64 and Amiga, but for gaming?
Borderlands 2 with 3 friends battling Vermivorous the Invincible, everyone on life support and hanging on to their teeth and after a long struggle defeating it. Once in a lifetime.
Safe haven on kbin.earth…landed on.the perfect spot. Insignificant but a cozy planet among the fediverse.
We are lifetime atheists with completely different backgrounds, me a baptiized catholic (as a baby) and my wife sefardic Jewish, her family migrated from Portugal to Amsterdam in 1497 and they have a very interesting and well recorded family history.
My huge family comes mostly from the Aachen region in Germany, Belgium and the South Netherlands. Mine workers. My grandma had 14 kids, you know catholic and all.
We never felt uncomfortable with each other but our families didn’t get along well, they are not on speaking terms.
Yeah it is easy, my basic recipe:
Bunch of peppers (Madame Jeanette), a lof of garlic and an onion, 8 grams of salt per liter of water, sterile jar and once a day I turn the lid carefully to let the CO₂ out. I like it to ferment for a week mostly, sometimes 5 days. It’ll keep fermenting after bottling anyway because I don’t pasteurize.
My wife is a big fan of omelet with this hot sauce.
Baguette from our local bakery in Schinnen, they do the original French method, with tick sliced tomatoes, hard boiled eggs, home made mayo (whisked, no stickblender stuff), salt and pepper. Delicious.
Where I live Zoervleis is a favorite of many. One can get it in any Snackbar.
Reddit search, notorious for being shit, has upgraded to a top tier shit pile.
I have the basic right for a roof over my head but doesn’t mean I don’t have to pay my rent. If I get thrown out of my house I still have basic rights, including food, water, clothing, housing, medical care and other necessary social services, including internet access as it is required to have interaction with government social services.
Water will only stay connected if it has medical emergency, otherwise it will be disconnected when bills are not paid and no reaction from the customer. One can ask for water containers before disconnection. Water company’s are required to give each person in the household a minimum of 3 liters per day for 4 days. Government will intermediate between company and customer for re-connection through a debt counselling program.
That’s how basic rights work over here.
Edit: added “per day”.
Fuck record labels, having an internet connection is a basic human right.
We are Lady Parts. There are quite some scenes in this show that made me genuinly laugh.
I loved my Amiga 500, I liked the gaming part, but mostly made music on it all day every day.
Fantastic machine that had a 4 channel audio Paula chip and with the right software called OctaMED, turned into an 8 channel music studio. I could sample, mix, hook up external MIDI hardware. It was the heart of my mini home studio back in the day.
kbin.earth is where I hang out lately, I like it here. I hope kbin.social comes back to it’s former self though.
“Approximately” 4100 dollars per console?
