Yeah, I used to enjoy it too. No more. And these apps are often not very good and are accompanied with obnoxiously frequent releases, sometimes multiple per day.
I wish fdroid had a “vibe coded” antifeature that we could filter out.

It disables JavaScript JIT by default, IIRC. If you haven’t turned it back on, give it a go.
